Big 9 Conference Speech Tournament
Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 at Rochester Century High School

Registration:

Registration will be done via SpeechWire.com. Please have your registrations entered on SpeechWire by Tuesday, March 5 at 5 p.m. This will allow time for rooms to be balanced and judges to be scheduled. You may register a maximum of 39 entries; double-entering is not allowed. Schools may not add speakers after the registration deadline. Drops may be made up to the start of the tournament; speaker substitutions are allowed per the Big 9 handbook guidelines.

There are no registration fees for this tournament.

Should you need to drop a speaker on the day of competition, please email me ASAP at sandy.nieland59@gmail.com or phone/text me at (507)202-7594. (Please leave a message if I do not answer.) Having the drops prior to your team's arrival will allow us to start draws on time.

Logistics

• Century's school day ends at 3:20 PM. WE CANNOT HAVE TEAMS ARRIVE BEFORE 3:30 PM.
• Busses will drop off ______. The entrance/driveway for busses is _____. Teams will enter through Door #7.
• Because there will be sports practices happening in our building, we ask that teams store their gear in the auditorium for safety.
• Concessions will be available for students. Meals will be provided for judges and coaches.
