This information is from a tournament in a past season!

This is a High School tournament in Nebraska.

Entries: Due by Wednesday, February 28, 2024 by noon

-Drops made after Thursday, February 29 at 8 a.m. will not reduce fees. 

-Adds will be taken up until Wednesday at 12:00 p.m.  After that point, no adds.

-As this is a varsity-only tournament, we prefer you register your district team (two entries per event); however, if you need this meet to make the final cut for the district team, additional entry for that event is understandable. 

-Limit individuals to entering in a maximum of three total events.

-We will use SpeechWire for registration and other meet preparations.

Registration: 7:00 – 7:45 AM

Judges/Coaches Meeting: 7:40 – 8:00 AM (Hospitality Room)

Entry Fee: $8.00 per entry

Judging Fee:  Schools are to provide one judge for every SIX entries.  There will be a fee of $80.00 for every six entries OR PORTION THEREOF not covered. 

EX: 12 entries – provide 2 judges; 14 entries – provide 3 judges

Awards: There will be medals provided to:

• Top 12 in every event in each division
• We will be running a champs finals and an honor finals

Concessions: There will be concessions available throughout the day.  There will be a meal option for students.  Coaches/judges hospitality room available throughout the day with food provided for breakfast and lunch.

Activities entrance Gymnasium:  The high school will be staging area for teams.

              7:00 – 7:45 – Registration

              7:45 – 8:00 – Judges/Coaches Meeting

              8:00 – Round 1, Flight A (Humorous, Poetry, Entertainment, OID, Persuasive – SUBJECT TO CHANGE*)

              8:15 – Extemp Draw, Round 1

              9:15 – Round 1, Flight B (Extemporaneous, Serious, Informative, Duet Acting, POI – SUBJECT TO CHANGE*)

              10:45 – Round 2, Flight A

              11:00 – Extemp Draw, Round 2

              12:00 – Round 2, Flight B

              1:30 – Finals, Flight A

              1:45 – Extemp Draw, round 3

              2:45 – Finals, Flight B

              4:00 – Awards

* = Events might change flight to assure the best competition rooms are used for the tournament
