Indian Community School PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SMALL TEAMS TOURNAMENT. TEAMS MUST HAVE 15 ENTRIES OR LESS TO REGISTER Welcome! We are so glad to see that you will be joining us for our second annual Indian Community School (ICS) Small Teams Forensics Tournament on February 9, 2024. We have a large dropoff circle in front of the school. Buses and cars may drop off at the main entrance. We have two sections to our parking lot. We ask that cars park in the section closest to the building and buses park in the second section to the East. There is no parking in the drop-off circle. The designated student section is in our Community Main area which is directly inside the main doors. ICS is located at 10405 St. Martins Road in Franklin, WI. Please find your labeled table(s) and stick to those spots. Please remember to bring an adult who can supervise students while waiting for results, we will have a short informal dance between Round 2 and Awards. Any changes in your registration MUST be made by Thursday, February 1, 2024. Remember that we will not accept any ads after the deadline, and any drops after that date will not be refunded from your total cost. Please plan accordingly and have your registration updated by February 1st.
SCHEDULE JUDGES: Please make sure that you have registered your judges in Speechwire as we are utilizing electronic ballots for our tournament. Every judge must bring their own Chromebook or laptop for filling out rubrics. Remember phones are not allowed for use during the tournament. AWARDS: All contestants will receive ribbons. The top third in each category will receive medals. The top three teams in two size categories will receive trophies. Awards will be held in the Drum - adjacent to the community main. REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fee is $6.00 per contestant. Each member of Group Interpretation, Group Acting, News Reporting, Special Events, and Demonstration must pay the registration fee. Please make checks payable to Indian Community School. FOOD: We will be offering a light dinner for judges and coaches and we will be providing concessions for students.
