Greetings and Welcome to the very first Columbus Academy Speech Meet. 

We are excited to get the chance to host, and we want to provide opportunities for students all over to learn and to perform with us. For this reason, and others, we will be offering all 9 Ohio Speech events plus some that are not specific to our state. We hope that students can enter events that they may not normally try and this can become a learning and exploring opportunity. Best of luck!

Children's Literature- Theme is "Be the Good" and it will be judged by elementary-aged children using an emoji based ballot.

Impromptu Quotes and Extemp Questions will be released closer to the competition to allow students as close to a limited prep environment that we can in an asynchronous environment.

As a reminder, this is an asynchronous competition. Videos are due by 8PM on November 16th. Judges will have until the end of the following week  Nov. 25 to enter their feedback and to submit ballots. The reason for the long time period is to accommodate those who are on Thanksgiving Break and to allow judges the flexibility to judge rounds at times that fit their schedules.
