The SFCFL Speech & Debate world  invites you to the SFCFL Grand Finals Tournament. Remember, you must be a paid member of SFCFL to attend this tournament. Additionally, any student who wishes to compete at the Grand Final Tournament in March must attend one complete SFCFL tournament.

EVENTS:  Public Forum Debate, Lincoln Douglas Debate, Student Congress, Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, Dramatic Performance, Declamation, Duo Interpretation

ENTRY LIMIT: 6 entries in each category. ONLY SINGLE ENTRY ALLOWED

STUDENT ENTRY FEE:   $25.00 per student payable to SFCFL.

JUDGE REQUIREMENTS:      1 judge for every 5 IE (including Congress), and 1 judge for every 2 debaters or fraction thereof, but you cannot mix PFD or LD judges. Please make certain you have the correct number of judges.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:    Enter online at   www.speechwire.com. Entries will be accepted through Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

EVENT TOPICS:

PUBLIC FORUM DEBATE: Resolved: In the United States, collegiate student-athletes should be classified as employees of their educational institution.

LINCOLN DOUGLAS DEBATE: Resolved: The primary objective of the United States criminal justice system ought to be rehabilitation.

STUDENT CONGRESS LEGISLATION:  Will be published Tuesday, March 12.
