The Elkhorn South Speech Team invites you to attend the Storm Speech Meet to be held on Saturday, January 20th, 2024. We will have three preliminary rounds and then finals. All events will have 1 judge during preliminary rounds and then two judges for finals.

ENTRIES ARE DUE BY 6:00 p.m. ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17TH
EVENTS and RULES
We will offer the following events for Varsity: Informative, Impromptu, Persuasive (OO), Entertainment, Poetry, Humorous (HI), Serious (DI), Extemporaneous, POI, Duet Acting/Duo Interp (10 minutes of either), and OID.
ENTRIES and FEES
Students may triple enter. However, we will not hold a round if they are running late.
Entry fee will be $8.00 per event.
Any entry not “covered” by your judges will cost an additional $20.00 per entry.
LATE CHANGES

**There will be NO refunds for drops after your entry has been received**
JUDGES
You must provide one qualified judge for every five (5) entries.
Any entry not “covered” by your judges will cost an additional $20.00 per entry.
Please try to cover as many judges as possible.
The meet will be run digitally, so each supplied judge must provide their own computer/device.
ALL JUDGES MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR FINALS.
AWARDS
Medals will be awarded to participants placing 1st-6th in Varsity. Sweepstakes will be awarded to the top two teams.
CONCESSIONS
There will be a concession stand and a judges and coaches lounge provided all evening. We do not accept card in concessions, so make sure your students bring cash!
