You are cordially invited to attend the FCDI Congress Only Northeast Scrimmage at Abraham Lincoln Middle School, 1001 SE 12th St, Gainesville, FL 32641 on September 9. This event is free for all FCDI schools.

All middle and high school students are invited to compete in this two-round tournament. The only event offered at this scrimmage is Congressional Debate.

Registration is at 8:00AM. Please plan to arrive then. We will welcome teams at 8:45AM and round 1 will begin at 9:00AM. Lunch will be from 11:15AM to 12:15PM, and round 2 will begin at 12:30PM. There will be an awards ceremony at 3:30PM and all teams should be able to leave by 4:00PM.

Online registration will close at 4:00PM Thursday, September 7. Please submit Congress legislation to Apryl Taylor at taylorfcdi@gmail.com no later than noon on Wednesday, September 5. Please make your email have the subject line of, “FCDI NE Scrimmage Congress Legislation.”

The judging requirement for Congressional Debate is for every 5 Congressional Debate competitor registrations, one judge must be registered.
