The Vel Phillips Memorial Invitational tournament will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2023.
Registration will take place from 7:30-8:15 AM.
Please drop student off at the Mineral Point Road entrance. Buses can park in the Mineral Point Lot as well.
We will host all WFCA categories using WFCA rules plus extemp reading, and NCFL declamation. The top 3 places in Final Rounds will earn trophies. In addition, the top 3 scoring teams will earn a team trophy, including the top 3 small schools (calculated by enrollment - similar to State).
Registration must be completed on SpeechWire by Thursday, March 2nd at 9:00PM.
Registration Fees: $9 for all events. If you have qualified judges above your requirement, we'd love to have them to make the day run smoother and waive your fees for bringing them.
Have your students compete in the TRIATHLON! Students must compete in three events. The top six competitors will receive a Triathlon trophy. Students may not compete in more than one draw event (Radio, Extemp Speaking), and may not use the same piece in multiple events.
