The RTR Knights invite your team to the 2023 RTR Jr. High Speech Invitational POSTPONED to Thursday, March 2.  All students in grades 6-9 are eligible to compete in all 13 Minnesota State High School League categories.  

Registration Deadline: Wed., March 1

Arrival: Buses may drop off students in the driveway loop off County Road 8 or in the parking lot to the south of the building.  Our school day does not end until 3:27, so please have the students remain in the Commons until that time. 

Registration: The tournament is open to students in grades 6 through 9. Please complete/update registrations by Wednesday, March 1.  Please enter all drops and adds on Speechwire.

Judges:  You must provide one judge for every six students or fraction thereof you register.  We will most likely not have any judges available for hire. Judges should bring an electronic device for recording ballots and critiques.

Awards:  We will have awards for place winners from 1^st through 6^th place. 

Concessions:  Various food and drink items will be available in the Commons. Students can set up camp in the Commons.

Fees:  Entry fees are $7.00 per contestant and $14.00 per dramatic duo.  Please make checks payable to RTR Schools. Invoices will be available at the registration tables, and schools paying by check may pay at that time as well.
