Dear Forensics Coach:
 
Another season is upon us and it is time for the Badger Conference Tournament!
(No masks required.)  
 
REGISTRATION:
Schools may register at http://www.speechwire.com
 
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 
Registration will close at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023  You may add and drop entries until midnight on Friday, February 10, 2023. 
 
 
DAY of TOURNAMENT DROPS and CHECK-IN:
All schools are required to text their drops or confirm their attendance by 7:30 am on Saturday morning. We need to know of your drops or if everyone is present!!! Don’t feel comfortable texting? Have a student do it! A text should have: school name, Drop category, entry’s code and student’s first name.
A sample text might be like this:

Check in will start at 7:45 outside the Multipurpose room/Judges room.  All participating schools are expected to be checked-in no later than 8:15 AM.
 
RULES: 
WHSFA rules will be used for all categories with allowances made for WFCA variations.   There will be no Duo Interpretation, OIL or Public Address.  Demonstration will be run as demonstration and Informative to allow for 10 minutes.  
 
SCHEDULE:
7:45 Registration
8:30 Radio/Extemp drawings begin in the LMC
8:35 Student meeting in Cafeteria and Judges’ Meeting 
9:00 Round I 
10:30 Round II
11:45 Round III
1:15 Power Rounds begin
2:45 Awards in the auditorium
 
DOUBLE-ENTRIES Double entries are NOT allowed.
 
 
FOOD: Students may purchase lunch in the high school cafeteria/Exhibition Hall.  Food for judges and bus drivers will be provided.
 
FEES: A fee of $8.00 for each entry.
    
 
 
CONFIRMATION: 
Coaches can confirm their entries on http://www.speechwire.com
Please print out your students’ codes on Friday, February 17.
 
JUDGES: Each school must provide one judge for every five entries or portion of five entries. Each group, duo or play is considered one entry.  Bring your own judges.  If you are having problems filling a judging assignment, Stoughton may be able to hire one for you at $100 per judge. If you wish to have a judge hired for you please e-mail me ASAP or login to the WISDAA website to hire a judge (preferred method).   
 
JV TEAMS: We will accept JV entries. (Entries over 25 count as JV.)
