Registration will be done through www.speechwire.com; initial entries and judges must be on speechwire.com by Wednesday, March 1, 2023. All adds must be completed by March 2nd through speechwire.com. Drops may be done until Friday, March 3 at 3 p.m. Any adds after the deadline must be done by contacting the tournament host.

Fees (registration and judges) will be assessed based on your entries on March 3. Fees are $10 per individual entry and $15 for group entry. The judging requirements are as follows: 1 judge for every 5 competitors (or fraction thereof). If you cannot meet your judging requirement, you will be charged $35 per uncovered entry. Judge requirements will increase with added students.

Rules: This tournament is run according to the rules of the Wisconsin Forensics Coaches Association. We will offer WFCA categories including impromptu. To accommodate the category differences between WFCA and WISDAA Public Address competitors may enter as Oratory entries. We will advise judges not to penalize speeches in those categories that resemble their WISDAA approximations. But please note, no notecards in Oratory or chairs in the solo acting categories are allowed. Oral Declamation will follow NCFL rules. These are available under the "Files for Download" tab. In addition, Extemporaneous Reading rules will also be available under this tab with practice material for this event.

Masking is optional at Port Washington High School. Students will not be penalized for wearing a mask during competition. Students will be gathered in the cafeteria during time away from rounds. If a school prefers to have a team classroom, they should contact the tournament manager directly to make arrangements.

Concessions will be available for sale at the tournament. There will be gluten-free and vegetarian options, however, students will dietary restrictions are encouraged to contact the tournament host or bring their own food to ensure they have options. Food will be available for coaches and judges. Vegetarian/Vegan options will be available.

Busses and parking: Busses should drop off in front of the main entrance, and park either in the lot off Webster or in the lot behind the school near the church/community pool. Judges and coaches can park in the lot across from the school or on the street.
7. Entries: You may enter up to 10 students in each event. The top 25 entries will be counted toward team awards. Students may double enter in any event.

8:15 Informational meetings: Students in the cafeteria commons; Judges and Coaches in the lower library
8:15 Extemp/Radio Draw in the Upper Library
8:45 Round 1

11:30 Round 3
12:00-1:00 Lunch in cafeteria commons
1:15 Power Round posting—ONLINE--Power Rounds will start immediately after postings.
3:00 Awards in the auditorium!
(Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 competitors in each event with medals for the remaining finalists. Team trophies will be given for the top THREE teams in the following categories: 5-10 entries, 11-19 entries, and 20+ entries*) *These numbers may be adjusted to ensure balanced divisions.
