Greetings,

Your team is cordially invited to the Rosemount Luck of the Irish Invitational presented by the Rosemount High School Speech Team. Our tournament will take place on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at Rosemount High School in Rosemount, MN.  All 13 MSHSL categories will be open to registration and we will Follow NSDA rules. We will also have POI (program oral interpretation).  We will offer two divisions of competition: Novice and Varsity. Students may not compete in different divisions. Double Entries are welcome (even in discussion).  However, students are not allowed to double enter into two draw categories. Each division will have a final round.

We will have a judges' and coaches' lounge with food provided. Concessions will also be available to students, coaches and judges throughout the day.

Divisions:

We will have a Novice and a Varsity Division. We will have a final round in each division.  

Cost:

Each entry will be $7.00.  Please have all of your drops/adds in by Tuesday, January 24th. Drops after this point will still be responsible for entry fees. 

Judges:

Please provide one judge for every six entries.  Uncovered judges will cost $100.00

Draw Events and Discussion:

- Discussion topics will come from areas I and II of the discussion outline.

- The first 10 stories will be used in Storytelling.

- Extemporaneous Reading Prose selections will come from the first 15 selections.
