Entries: Six entries per school are allowed in each event. We will accommodate additional entries if judges are provided for entries. Thank you for helping us run a timely tournament for all!

Debate Topics: January NSDA resolutions will be used for Public Forum and Lincoln Douglas Debates.

Internet: Guest Wifi is available through Jeffco Public Schools. This tournament will run using online ballots, so remind your judges and your students that WiFi will be available, and they should plan on bringing a device capable of making an internet connection. We will use the NSDA rules for internet use. **Be prepared for if there is an internet issue** (print cases)

Rules: We will abide by CHSAA rules and rankings for speech and debate events.

Fees: Entry fees are $10 per individual event and $20 for teams. LD is $12/entry. Make payment to:

Denver East Forensics Team

Attn: Seth Willden

1600 City Park Esplanade

Denver, CO 80203

*We never want financial difficulties to be a barrier to entry. Please contact the tournament directors to discuss cost.

Doubling: All competitors may enter up to two IEs, but Exempers will risk losing prep time. Debaters may not double enter.

Judging and Registration: All teams will be expected to provide judges that cover ALL their entries! 1 speech judge covers 6 entries, 1 debate judge covers 2 entries. The tournament would like to have a single wave of debate, so please provide adequate coverage.

COVID-19: Masks are not required, but are highly recommended in shared common areas. If you or your student(s) are feeling sick or test positive, let us know ASAP and please stay home.
