Hello!

We look forward to seeing you at our tournament on January 14, 2023. We will be running our tournament different than in past years, as noted below. Our building caps are different this year and we will be closing the tournament when filled. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Other information:

1) Please respond on SpeechWire as soon as possible.

2) Please mail a check or bring one made out to WVHS for the following amounts:

Up to 1 entry per event (or 1-14 entries total) - $125 (and 3 judges)

Up to 2 entries per event (15-28) - $150 (and 4 judges)

Up to 3 entries per event (29-42) - $175 (and 5 judges) ***THIS IS THE DEFAULT OPTION***

Up to 4 entries per event (43- 56) - $200 (and 6 judges)

3) Judging needs are listed above. Bring your own stopwatches. Radio Speaking judges will need to time their own rounds. Please make certain your judges know how Impromptu runs Even if there are drops, you are still required to provide the judges from the original confirmed entry.

5) Judges' preferences will be used to break ties in finals. Team awards will be given to the top 3 teams in the sweepstakes. Head coaches should fill out the rosters on SpeechWire ahead of time.

6) Lastly, on FRIDAYDAY, January 13, by 12:00 PM, please confirm final numbers in each event in Speechwire. We will NOT add entries past that time. Any drops made past the time/date will not affect judge numbers. After 12pm, you are still required to bring the number of judges from original confirmation.
