The Howland Forensics program is pleased to be hosting the Annual Amy Lowe Memorial Tournament on Saturday, December 17, 2022. This will be a full in-person event. All competition will occur at the high school-- 200 Shaffer Drive, Warren, Ohio 44484
Currently, we are offering 3 rounds in all IE and LD debate (NO PF). Debate bracketing will be random for round one and power-paired after that with no school protection. We will be hosting a student congress. There will be no final congress (each chamber will award their top three speakers)
We are also offering most Middle School events (no BQD).
We will NOT be offering BQD or Policy or PF.
Cost per student is $4.00. CHECKS PAYABLE TO HOWLAND BOOSTER CLUB
Debate and Congress will use NSDA topics and OSDA congress docket for 12/17.
Middle school congress should prepare ODD NUMBERED legislation in the docket.
Enter as many students as you like in all events. DOUBLED ENTRIES PERMITTED. Mark 3 entries in each event as varsity. If we reach capacity, I will send notices.
As this is a short event, we will have a snack bar, but no large lunch. Have students plan accordingly. Awards will be medals and certificates.

Awards: 12:30/1:00 PLEASE ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION FOR AN EARLY DAY.
Please confirm your school's attendance and tentative numbers ASAP so we can make arrangements for distancing protocols.
All other logistics will be sent once we get tentative numbers and interested schools.
