Dear Coach and Team,
The Platte County High School Speech and Debate Team would like to invite you to the Platte County Talking Pirate Novice Tournament. The tournament will be held January 27-28, 2023. Please consider bringing 1st and 2nd year novices.
We will host the following events:
In an effort to provide maximum opportunities for competitors, we ask that each school provide at least one judge--the more the merrier! We also welcome any varsity member with 250 NSDA points who is not competing in another tournament. Please enter all your judges in Speechwire.
Entry fees are $8.00 per entry. All entries are due by 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023, in Speechwire. Teams will be responsible for any drops after Tuesday, January 24.
Each school shall be guaranteed up to two entries in each competitive event offered with the exception of Congress in which schools will be guaranteed four entries. Extra entries will be granted on a basis of space and judge availability beginning Wednesday, 1/25.
