12 Events of S&D Moeller Holiday Tournament

Moeller High School Speech and Debate is pleased to invite you to the 12 Events of Speech and Debate Holiday Tournament on December 10, 2022.
Please read the tournament information carefully. It will be necessary to adhere to all deadlines. We recommend that you register as early as possible due to space limitations. We regret that we cannot guarantee your participation unless full payment is made at final registration on December10. We will follow all OSDA rules, policies and procedures.
Registration will start at 8-8:30 in the Moeller High School office. Please let me know if you have any questions concerns about registration by emailing me at Eeble@moeller.org.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Registration must be received no later than Thursday, December 8th @ 7pm. Please register as soon as possible. We have only a limited number of rooms and once they are filled registration will close regardless of the date.
FEEDS & FOOD: Fees will be $15 per competitor; this will cover lunch for your competitors, who will have a choice of either pizza & snack or Chik-fil-a sandwich & snack (plus beverage for each). See the lunch registration link on Speechwire to register for your team's lunch numbers.
We will have additional food for sale in the morning and afternoon throughout the tournament.
NUMBER OF ROUNDS: We'll offer five rounds of LD / PF, four rounds of IE, and three sessions of Congress.
TOPICS: We'll use the national topics for LD and PF for Nov/Dec; for Congress, we'll use the OSDA legislation for December 10th.
ADDRESS: Moeller is located at 9001 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. Buses can drop off student by the Crusader statue in the front of the building.
HOTELS: We are happy to welcome any teams from outside of the Cincinnati / Dayton area who would like to compete. We have set aside a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites Kenwood (2000 Ronald Reagan Dr. Cincinnati, Ohio 45236; Phone: 513-794-0700 Fax: 513-794-0444). AWARDS: We will hold awards in the student commons after all rounds have ended. Top six in every event will be recognized; top three teams will be recognized for team sweeps.
