Central High School of Grand Junction is to host our annual Invitational! The tournament is scheduled in person for Saturday, November, 5th at Central High School (550 Warrior Way, Grand Junction, CO).
Registration is $8.00 for individual events and $16.00 for team events (DUO and PF). A drop fee of $9.00 will be applied after October 29th.

Each school with at least one entry in Congressional Debate is REQUIRED to submit 1 piece of student legislation and may not exceed 3 pieces of student legislation. Please submit legislation to Caleb Ferganchick no later than October 21st.
We will be using the NSDA Nov/Dec LD topic and the NSDA Nov. PF topic.
Extemp Topics (in no particular order):
DX: midterms, judicial proceedings, health care
IX: climate, escalating state conflict, protests
Value Deabte Prepared Topic:
Independent and established wealth is required for genius.
MISC. NOTES
Breakfast, lunch, and snack concessions will be available to students throughout the day. Food will be provided free of charge to coaches and judges.
As an extension of the commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion a gender-neutral bathroom will be available at the tournament. Additionally, students are welcome and encouraged to include their pronouns in introductions or when writing their names and pieces for judges.
Please let us know in advance if additional accommodations can be provided for your students, particularly related to mobility devices.
Please strive to arrive at Central High School at 7:00 AM for registration so we can begin Extemp and Value draw at 7:30 AM.
