Dear Speech Coach and Team:
You are cordially invited to attend the MHS Speech & Debate Tournament on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3, 2022. This tournament is for 9th-12th grade.

Each school is allowed 3 entries in each event. Extras will be allowed based on space on a first come, first served basis.

There will be NO division between varsity and novice.

Events include; Prose, Poetry, Humorous, Dramatic, Story, Duet Acting, Duo, Info, POI, Oratory, Extemp (combined), Radio, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate

Dramatic, Humorous, Info, POI, Duo, Oratory, Extemp will follow the current NSDA guidelines. Prose, Poetry, Story, Duet Acting, Radio and Debate will follow the current MSHSAA guidelines.

Entry fees are $10.00 per event.

Payment is due by registration. Please bring a check or Purchase Order when you register.

Students may double enter in IEs AND may also enter one debate event.

Students may NOT triple-enter in IEs.

All entries are due NO LATER than 4:00PM Monday, November 21 via Speechwire..

The deadline for changes will be Monday, November 28 by 4:00PM. After this time, no additions may be requested and drops will be charged the original entry fee.

If the drop is on the day of the tournament call or text 573-340-9744 with the information BEFORE arriving at the tournament.

Each school is required to bring 1 adult judge per 8 Individual Event Entries and 1 adult judge per 3 debate entries.
