Entry Limits:

There are no team or category entry limits. 

Entry Fees:

$8 per entry; Each duo counts as 1 entry

Entry Changes:

Entry changes (drops or adds) can be made on the Speechwire.com tournament site up until the end of registration. We will be site scheduling all rounds of competition in order to make sure rounds are equal and fair. To speed up the process, please text Angie Klein at 605-354-2230 the morning of the tournament once all drops and adds have been made.

Double Entering:

Double entering is allowed in ALL categories, including Discussion. Discussion will start 15 minutes later to accommodate those double entries (discussants are not allowed to  double enter in a draw category). Draw category double entries are allowed, but students can't double enter in 2 draw categories. It is the responsiblity of the student to make it to their draw on time.

Judging Requirements:

Teams need to bring 1 judge for every 6 entries or fraction thereof. A small number of judges will be available for hire at $100 for the day. Please email Angie Klein by Tuesday, January 24 if you need to hire a judge. Please train your judges prior to the tournament.

Judging Finals: 

We ask that ALL judges be available to judge final rounds.

Medals awarded to top six in each category. Champion in each category will also receive a stuffed eagle.

Ribbons to speakers of excellence who do not final.

Team Sweepstakes:

Team trophies will be awarded to the top three large entry teams and first place small entry team.
