Staley High School Speech and Debate is thrilled to host the 1st Annual Staley IE Showdown on Friday, February 10 at Staley. This is an invitational event open only to those students who have placed 1st-3rd in any Missouri tournament this season (Novice, Varsity, or Open).  PLEASE be able to send proof of placement if requested. We will offer the following events (numbers pending):

This tournament will feature the best of the best!  We will hold 2 preliminary rounds and a finals.  After the final round, there will be an awards ceremony with a twist--the winner of each category will perform their piece on stage.  We're hoping to have multiple Missouri colleges and theatres on site to help with judging and to offer your students information about future opportunities.    We will have a full concession stand with a spaghetti dinner option.  We hope you're join us for what should be an amazing night! 

 

Entry Deadline:  Friday, FEBRUARY 3, 2023, 4:00pm. (All financial responsibility will be assumed at this time.)
