Staley STRONG Novice IE Tournament
Friday, October 21 at Staley
The tournament is open to true 1st and 2nd year Novice competitors and will offer the following events (numbers pending):
Student Congress
Combined Extemporaneous Speaking
Informative Speaking
Original Oratory
Radio Speaking (LIVE)
Dramatic Interpretation
Humorous Interpretation
Duo Interpretation
Program Oral Interpretation
Poetry
Prose
Storytelling
Although awards will be handed out, this tournament is truly a learning and growing opportunity for our Novice competitors. We would LOVE to have as many of your Varsity competitors with 150 NSDA points to serve as judges for the events in the categories they compete in! Not only will your Varsity students earn service points for NSDA, but we will also sign off on community service hours for them AND we'll be doing raffles each round for prizes!
Entry Deadline: Monday, October 17, 2022, 4:00pm. *We will try to accommodate as many entries as possible.*
Drop Deadline: Thursday, October 20, 2022, 4:00pm.
