Hello and Welcome coaches,

The Bolingbrook High School Speech Team and coaching staff look forward to hosting you and your team for our  14th Annual Tournament of Dreams on Saturday January 21,  2023

This tournament has long been a realization and celebration of the Dream of Martin Luther King Jr.

We welcome you and wish you and your team well this season.

Tournament Information

        Radio and Extemp speakers will prep once and speak twic in prelims.

        Prep and Speak  again for final rounds.

•       Impromptu will be run according to the state rules with 2 minutes for prep and 6 for speaking. 

•       All fourteen IHSA events will be offered 

• Students may be double or triple entered.
• Top 6 competitors  in each event will receive medals.
• Top 5 teams will receive trophies.
• There will be no penalty for time except for Radio

Entries and Fees

$180 for up to 3 in each event

$225 for 4 (Max)

1 judge for every 5 competitiors

Make all checks payable to VALLEY VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT (BHS Speech Team) in the notes or description

 Updates, adds and drops should be completed by Thursday January 19, 2023

LUNCH FOR COMPETITORS

Mr Submarine, Fat Rickys  and other treats will be available in $6 combos for competitors by noon
