Site: North Platte High School, 1220 W 2nd Street

Awards: Varsity and Novice medals will be awarded to the top 10 in all events. We will be awarding team champion and team runner up plaques in both the Varsity & Novice divisions.

Entry Fees: Entry Fees are $7.00 per event. You must provide one judge for each six entries or part thereof. Hired judges are $75.00 each. Please do your best to cover entries as we have a limited supply of judges. 

Parking: Team buses may drop off students in the loading area in front of the high school and proceed to park on the north end of the east parking lot. Teams will enter the building from the MAIN ENTRANCE at NPHS.

Concessions: Will be available in the commons of the high school. 

Schedule: 7:30-8:30 AM: Registration

8:30 AM: Round 1 - Flight A

8:45 AM: Round 1 - Extemp Prep

9:45 AM: Round 1 - Flight B 

11:00 AM: Round 2 - Flight A

11:15 AM: Round 2 - Extemp Prep

12:15 PM: Round 2 - Flight B

ASAP: Extemp Prep for Finals

1:30 PM: Finals- Flight A

2:45 PM: Finals - Flight B

4:00 PM: Awards in Performing Arts Center 

Additional Information:
Extemp Prep: 1 hour, wifi access will be given
OID: 15-minute time limit. Judges will be informed not to penalize for sub-10 minute performances.
Duo/Duet: 12-min, Judges will be informed not to penalize for differences in Duo/Duet.

MS Rules: - We will follow the same rules as HS with the following changes:

Registration: Registration for your team will be at speechwire.com. Entries are due by 11:59 PM on 2/22/2023. Changes in your entries can be made up to 11:59 PM on 2/22/2023.
