The coaches and students of Hastings College (Broncos) and the HC Alumni invite you and your students to a virtual asynchronous and synchronous tournament on February 15-18 (asynchronous) & February 19th (synchronous). Full invite here.

This tournament is an open invitational for all undergraduate competitors who meet the eligibility requirements of the AFA-NST. For the asynchronous tournament, we offer three rounds, no finals (using the same video for all events including LP). For the synchronous tournament, it will be a single flight tournament where students can enter a maximum of three events. Unless an event is very small, we will offer two preliminary rounds and finals in the eleven AFA events for the synchronous tournament.The 8x8/Jitsi platform will be used. All finalists will be given a virtual certificate.

Entries and videos for the asynchronous tournament must be submitted to Speechwire before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2021. Entries for the synchronous tournament are due at this time, too.  The Speechwire address is www.speechwire.com

Both tournaments can be paid in one check. 

Fees for the tournament are $6 per slot covered and an additional $12 per uncovered slot. One judge covers six slots. We request that you provide ample judges—our uncovered slot fee will be used to compensate the strong pool of alumni who are hired to adjudicate the tournament.
