It is my pleasure to welcome you the South Central Invite which will take place at Sandy Creek on February 12, 2022. The registration/adds deadline will be 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2021. Entry drops after this point will need to be done in person on Feb. 12.

Competition: We will only offer the nine NSAA-sanctioned speech events. All events will only have a Varsity division, with medals being awarded to the top six places. 

Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. on the 12th. There will be a general meeting at 7:30 a.m.

SCHEDULE (Subject to Change)

Round 1:

8:00 a.m.  Flight A (Duet Acting, Entertainment, Serious Prose, Persusive)

8:00 a.m. Extemp. Draw

9:15 a.m. Flight B (Extemp, Informative, OID, Humorous Prose, Poetry)

Round 2:

10:30a.m. Flight A

10:30 a.m. Extemp. Draw

11:45 a.m. Flight B

Finals:

1:00 Flight A Finals

1:00 Final Extemp. Draw

2:15 Flight B Finals

Awards as soon as possible afterward.

Entries: Entries will be $7.00 per event for both individuals and groups.

Judges: Please provide 1 judge for every 6 entries. There will be a fee of $75.00 for every six entries OR PORTION THEREOF not covered. We would really rather have your judges than your money! I encourage coaches to judge. Please email me with the names and email of your judges. 

Fees: All fees will be calculated by Speechwire.

Concessions will be available throughout the day.
