RTR Varsity Invitational
General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Minnesota. View manager contact information You are invited to attend the 2022 RTR Varsity Speech Invitational! It will be held on Saturday, March 19, at the BRAND NEW RTR Public School in Tyler, MN. Students in grades 6-12 may compete. We are excited to have you at our tournament! Please note the change in our location as we have moved. Come and help us inaugurate our new facility! We will be having 3 rounds of competition and a final in all 13 MSHSL categories. Double entries are welcome and even encouraged! We have staggered our start times so that Discussants have the option of double entering as well!
This is an in-person meet. Entry cost is $7 per single event, $14 for Duos. Make checks payable to RTR Schools.
Judges: You must provide one judge for every six students or fraction thereof you register. Uncovered Judges will cost $100 and availability will be limited to non-existent. Judges are asked to bring an electronic device for online balloting and critiques. Paper ballots and critiques will be available, but we strongly encourage the electronic version.
Concessions will be available throughout the day, as well as refreshments in the Coach/Judge Lounge.

Location: RTR High School, 111 County Road 8., Tyler, MN 56178 -- Please note our new location! Come and enjoy our gorgeous new facility! Arrival: Buses may drop off students in the driveway loop off County Road 8 or in the parking lot to the south of the building. Please have your drivers park in the south lot.

We will be giving awards in both Varsity and JV Divisions. JV is open to anyone in grades 6-9. JV awards will be based on the 3 prelim rounds with no final. JV awards will not count for team sweeps.
