You are invited to the 2022 Waverly Forensics Classic Invitational to be held Saturday, February 26, 2022.

 

- IMPORTANT CHANGE: Due to a conflict with basketball, our meet will be held at Waverly Middle School (right next door to the high school). The size of the facilities are nearly the same, so we can accommodate up to 20 schools.  The first 20 schools to indicate they will be attending via SpeechWire will be able to register for events. 

 

- Our tournament will be flighted with registration running from 8:00 to 8:30 am (Extemp draw starts at 8:30). Schools can camp out in the commons (right where you enter the building), and overflow can camp in the gym. We'll hold a brief general meeting in the gym at 8:45. 

 

- We are offering Varsity & Novice* rounds/finals in all NSAA Individual Events but Varsity-Only Duet Acting and OID. For all individual events, top six advance to finals. Top 4 OID & DA will advance to finals with medals given out to the top 6 groups. Each school may have up to four entries in each event in any combination of varsity and novice.  The exception is Duet and OID, which may only have two. 

 

- We are using eballots again, so please ensure that your judges bring a laptop and that your competitors have their emails put into Speechwire.

 

- Team registration deadline is Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 12:00 AM. Drops/adds may be made through Wednesday, February 23, 2022 by 5 PM, at which time fees are locked in. Entries are $7 per event. Please provide a judge for every 5 entries. Uncovered entries are assessed a $18 fee per entry, but we prefer that you bring vetted judges in lieu of payment. There is a $10 dropped-judge fee if any are dropped after Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 12:00 AM.
