Dear Speech Coaches:

You and your team are invited to participate in the Prior Lake High School Laker Speech Tournament on Saturday, February 5, 2022. We hope you will be able to join us!
We are running a completely in-person tournament this year. We will have masking requirements for everyone in the building (coaches, judges, and students). However, we will allow competitors to remove their masks while speaking. We ask that only discussants remain masked while speaking.
We are also very excited that our tournament is a NIETOC bid tournament!
The cost is $7.00 per entrant. Checks can be made to Prior Lake High School Speech. Double entries are allowed. Duo Interpretation is $7.00 per Duo.
Food: We will have concessions available to students. Stay tuned for more info!
Judges: You will need to provide one judge for every six (6) entries or fraction thereof. Uncovered judge slots will cost $85 each. Please make every effort to provide the required number of judges based on your entries prior to drops.
Entry Deadline: Please submit your initial entries by Friday, January 28. If you need to make changes, please submit drop/adds on Speechwire by Wednesday, February 2 at 3:00 pm. Changes can still be made up until Saturday morning, but all drops after Feb. 2, 3:00 pm will not result in a change on the statement.

Storytelling: Stories 1-10
ER Prose: Stories 1-10
ER Poetry: Poems 1-20
Disco: Tasks will come from Part I. (Sub-section Topics).
