UPDATE: The Westside Warrior Invitational has gone virtual!
The tournament will be open until tomorrow at 11:00 so that you can drop as needed. Please take care of drops before that time if possible.
The schedule has been pushed back as follows:
Check - in / Registration: 3:45 - 4:15
Extemp Draw: 4:00
Round 1: 4:30
Round 2: 6:00
Finals 7:45 (ish)

Hello!
You and your students are cordially invited to the 2022 Westside Warrior Invitational Tournament to be held on Friday, January 14, 2022. Registration will be in the auditorium at Westside High School on Friday beginning at 3 p.m.
We will be running eleven events (DI, HI, POE, POI, EXT, ENT, Info, OO, Duo/Duet Acting, OID, and IMP) with two rounds and finals. Trophies will be awarded for first place and medals will be given for places 2-6. If we have enough entries, we will add an honors final in that event.
Pizza and other food will be served along with a fully-stocked judge's lounge.

Entries Due by Tuesday, January 11th at 5:00. Drops will be accepted on Speechwire through Wednesday evening.
*Please note: All students, coaches, judges and other attendees must wear a mask while in our building unless eating, drinking or speaking. Please remind all parties to come prepared!

INDIVIDUAL EVENTS INFORMATION
1. Students may enter two events.
2. We will offer competition in eleven events. Extemporaneous, Original Oratory, Duo Interpretation/Duet Acting, Informative Speaking, Entertainment Speaking, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Poetry, POI, OID and Impromptu
Entry Fees
Individual Event entry: $8.00 per entry
Entries will only be accepted through Speechwire.com. All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, January 11th at 5:00
Judges
We request that all judges be competent and experienced.
One judge per every five Individual Event entries.
$15.00 for each uncovered entry.
