Greeting Coaches!

We would love to have you join us once again (or for the first time) for a weekend of Novice competition.  We will be hosting our annual Novice Invitational Tournament this November 20th, at West Chicago Community High School. We want to try something a little different this year.  Normally this tournament is for first-year speakers only, but this year I thought we could add we would include second-year speakers, as well as this, is their first year in front of live audiences.  Our happy little competition will have three preliminary rounds and no final.  Prelim Round Ranks will determine award standings.  Ideally, the tournament will be completed shortly after 2:00 pm.  The exact schedule is included but as always, subject to change up until the day of the competition.  I will keep you posted if that were to happen.  This tournament is an excellent opportunity for teams to send their new competitors or who want to get another rep in to engage in some friendly, early-season competition.  I would like to open this up to any team wishing to participate and cap entries at two per event.  I need to make sure that there is interest and numbers before I can grant more extensive programs the third entry.  You can request but no promises until we are closer to the actual date.  So, please enter your acceptance and numbers as soon as you can.  Rest assured, you will be greeted warmly, treated royally, and be involved in some good novice competition.  Concessions will be available in thee cafeteria from masked workers so no one will starve.  Have buses drop your teams off and enter through door “B” on the West side of the school.  Schedule, Entry Fees, and Expectations are as follows:

November 20th, at West Chicago Community High School

326 Joliet Street, West Chicago, IL  60185
