The Howland Forensics program is pleased to be hosting the Annual Amy Lowe Memorial Tournament on Saturday, December 19, 2021.  This will be a full in-person event.  We will be following OSDA and local health recommendations (including mask mandate).

 

Currently, we are offering 3 rounds in all IE and debate. At this time, we are planning to use our middle school to avoid flights and allow for distancing.  Debate bracketing will be random for round one and power-paired after that with no school protection.  We will be hosting a student congress.  There will be no final congress (each chamber will win their own set of awards). 

 

We are also offering most Middle School events (no BQD).

 

We will NOT be offering BQD or Policy.

 

Cost per student is $4.00.

Debate and Congress will use NSDA topics and OSDA congress docket for 12/19.

 

Enter as many students as you like in all events.  Mark 4 entries in each event as varsity.  If we reach capacity, I will send notices.  

 

As this is a short event, we will have a snack bar, but no large lunch.  Have students plan accordingly. There will be food. There will be awards.

Awards: 12:30

 

Please confirm your school's attendance and tentative numbers ASAP so we can make arrangements for distancing protocols.

 

All other logistics will be sent once we get tentative numbers and interested schools.
