Hello!

 

Moeller High School Speech and Debate is please to invite you to the "It's the Moeller Halloween Tournament, Charlie Brown" on October 30th, 2021.  This is a mask-mandatory IN-PERSON TOURNAMENT.  Whether or not you plan to wear a Halloween costume, be sure that you wear a mask to help stop the spread!

 

Doors will open at 7:45 AM.  Buses can drop off in the front of the building near the Crusader statue; competitors, coaches, and judges should proceed to the main entrance, where parent volunteers will be taking temperatures.  Teams and judges should then proceed to the Student Commons, where they will find team-specific seating.  

 

We will offer four rounds of IE,  five rounds of LD and PF Debate, and three 90-minute sessions in Congress. Awards will be given to top 6 in all categories.

 

IN TERMS OF FOOD... We will be selling concessions throughout the day.  LUNCH IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE; we will have THREE OPTIONS (including a vegetarian one) for individuals to select.  PLEASE MAKE SELECTIONS BY 2:45 PM ON THURSDAY, 10/28.  

 

LD and PF will be using the published November/December topics found on NSDA, while Congress will be using the docket found on the OSDA website.

 

AWARDS will be at 4:00 PM in the Moeller Student Commons.  

 

If a student is ill during the tournament, he/she should contact the team's coach; we will expect that person to find transportation and end competition immediately.
