Invite details
Dear Forensics Colleagues:
You are cordially invited to participate in the 3rd and 4th Valley Forensic League Tournaments of 2021-2022, to be held Friday, Feb. 25, and Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, in Mankato, MN at Minnesota State University-Mankato. The competition will offer all 11 AFA individual events for each part of the swing and Parliamentary Debate competition will be held offered at VFL #2 on Saturday.
The entry deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 5:00 p.m. A nuisance fee of $10.00 will be assessed to changes made after 12:00 p.m. on Feb 23.
The VFL will recognize the finalists in each event, the top novice competitor in each event, and the top 3 teams.
• Membership in the VFL is $125 for this year. This fee covers all entry fees (but not uncovered judging fees) for the season and student refreshments. One judge covers six individual events slots or a portion thereof. Schools are asked to try to cover all slots to cut down on hired judging costs.
• All judges are expected to assist in judging final rounds.
• Each uncovered individual event slot will incur a $15 fee.
• A $20.00 fee will be charged for each slot changed at registration.
We hope that you and your team will attend. If you have any questions, concerns, or need accommodations, please feel free to contact any member of the Executive Committee.
Registration will be via SpeechWire.com.
