General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Florida. View manager contact information SFCFL 2: Online | November 6, 2021 Tournament Information: COACH: (Registration): All coaches should confirm that all students and judges are awake and ready to begin. If there are any changes, coaches should email dariocamara@gmail.com by 7:45 a.m. If not, we will assume all is correct and there are no changes and move on with the tournament. There is no official check in for coaches or teams but the head coach on record should be available throughout the tournament for issues, concerns, judging or assistance. Other issues or questions, join us in the judge/coach lounge STUDENTS should log in at live.speechwire.com by 8:00 am. This is where they'll be able to access the links to their live NSDA Campus rounds. If a judge or competitor can't remember their password, or is having trouble logging in, tell them to try resetting their password at live.speechwire.com by clicking "Forgot Password". JUDGES: All judges are required to arrive in the virtual judge lounge by 7:45 a.m. Judge instructions will be reviewed. If judges are not assigned or if judges/coaches have questions, please join us in the virtual Judge Lounge TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE All Speech and Congress rounds will be paired and released by 8:00 a.m. Saturday! Judges will have access to all their ballots. Judges and students should arrive in their virtual rooms 10-15 minutes prior to the beginning of the round. 8:00 a.m. Extemp Prep 1 8:30 a.m. Round 1 (PF, LD, Speech), Session 1 (CON) 9:30 a.m. Extemp Prep 2 10:00 a.m. Round 2 (PF, LD, Speech) 11:00 a.m. Session 2 (CON) 11:30 a.m. Extemp Prep 3 12:00 p.m. Round 3 (PF, LD, Speech) 1:00 p.m. Extemp Prep 4 1:30 p.m. Round 4 (PF, LD, Speech), Session 3 (CON) 2:30 p.m. Extemp Prep 5 3:00 p.m. Round 5 (PF, LD, Speech) All Public Forum & Lincoln Douglas Debate rounds are single-flighted. We had to merge divisions in PF and LD; therefore, we will only run on division of both. All Congress sessions are 2 hours per session of debate. Tournament Invitation The virtual Speech & Debate world invites you to the 2nd virtual SFCFL tournament on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Additionally, any student who wishes to compete at the Grand Final Tournament in March must attend one complete SFCFL tournament. EVENTS (NSDA Campus): Novice & Varsity Public Forum, Novice & Varsity Lincoln Douglas Debate, Varsity & Novice Congress, Extemporaneous Speaking, Program Oral Interpretation, Original Oratory, Oral Interpretation, Dramatic Performance, Declamation, Informative Speaking, Declamation, Duo Interpretation Preview NSDA Campus here: https://campus.speechanddebate.org ENTRY LIMIT: 10 entries in each category. DOUBLE ENTRY IS ALLOWED IN SPEECH EVENTS. STUDENT ENTRY FEE: $12.00 per student payable to SFCFL. JUDGE REQUIREMENTS: 1 judge for every 5 IE (including Congress), and 1 judge for every 2 debaters or fraction thereof, but you cannot mix PFD or LD judges. Please make certain you have the correct number of debate judge. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Enter online at www.speechwire.com. Entries will be accepted through Wednesday November 3, 2021. Changes and drops may be made until Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., but you will be charged the entry fee for any student originally entered. The web site will be closed Tuesday night. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE: Registration will be online and require just a verification of entry.
