Dear Speech Coaches,
The Brainerd Competitive Speech Team invites you to take part in our virtual speech tourney on Saturday, February 20th. Information: The events include all thirteen MSHSL standard categories plus POI if there are enough competitors. There will be three preliminary rounds and a final round. We will have an honor finals if numbers permit. We will use NSDA campus for all events except Disco which will use Zoom.
Fees -- Registration fee is $6.00 per entry. Judges --Each school should furnish one judge for each 6 entries or fraction thereof. Judges need to be registered in Speechwire There is a LIMITED number of judges that will be available for hire at a rate of $85 each on a first come-first served basis. If you have 6 entries, you are responsible for 1 judge. If you have 7-12 entries, you are responsible for 2 judges. Make checks out to: Brainerd High School Please send checks to: Attn: Activities Clerk/Cashier 702 South 5th Brainerd Mn 56401 Divisions-Varsity, but all are invited to compete Registration-7:30-8:30am Rd 1 Draw: 8:30 Rd 1-All Events: 9:00am Rd 2 Draw: 9:50 am Rd 2-All Events: 10:20 Rd 3 Draw: 11:10am Rd 3-All Events: 11:40 Final Rd Draw: 1:15pm Final Round-All Events-1:45pm Awards: 3:30 Awards will be given to the top competitors in each category and division and excellent and superior ribbons will also be awarded.
