11th Annual Robin Whited Memorial Speech Tournament

Hosted by Columbus East High School

February 20, 2021

Columbus East High School
230 S. Marr Rd
Columbus, IN  47201

**The Columbus East Speech Team honors the memory of Ms. Robin Whited (d. 12/7/2019), former speech and debate coach at Columbus East, English department chair, and champion of student voices through forensic competition. A tireless advocate for students, for peace, for justice, and for equity and equality, we should all strive to live the example of her life. Her death leaves a significant void, but her memory will live on through this tournament and through the lives of the thousands she has taught and coached.**

This year, the tournament will be held virtually using NSDA Campus. Zoom will be used for Impromptu. A master document with information will be sent with links and a bulleted list for judges, coaches, and competitors the week of the tournament. Please make sure your students and judges are able to use NSDA Campus and that the websites and extensions necessary to compete and judge in the tournament have been whitelisted by your IT staff.

This tournament will be held in conjunction with the HH/HC NSDA District Congress tournament. Please follow the prompts from your district chair to register competitors and judges for the District Congress tournament. Your Congress judges cannot count towards your overall judging total for the speech tournament and vice versa.
