Welcome Back!  We are honored to have you participate in our Scarlet Invitational on Feb 20, 2021.  We will use NSDA Campus as our competition platform in 2021.  All junior and senior high competitors are welcome. We are excited to have all of you.  We assure a fun and friendly competition where everyone feels supported in changing times.  As the season progresses and the evolving online precedents are established by prior tournaments, we will update our tournament outline accordingly. 

 

The events include all thirteen MSHSL standard categories. plus  Both NFL and MSHSL time limits will be honored.

 

All preliminary rounds of competition will be mixed between varsity and novice competitors to provide a good example for our young competitors.

 

Fees -- Registration fee is $7.00 per student, Duo is $14.00 per team.

 

Judges --Each school should furnish one judge for each 6 entries or fraction thereof.

 

Draws � All stories will be included in the draws for Extemp Reading Prose & Poetry & Storytelling.  

Double Entry will not be allowed this year. 

 

Deadline to register is Wednesday, February 17 at 12:00 (noon).  At that point judges / rooms will be locked.  You will be able to make changes to your registered entries (without cost) until Saturday at 7:00 AM. All drops DUE by 7:00 AM on Saturday morning.  After 7:00 AM drops will be allowed but not refunded.  Adds will be allowed at the discretion of the tournament manager.  We would a appreciate an email or phone call Saturday morning between the hours of 7 & 8 AM to verify your roster.
