Dear Forensics Coach,

The Watertown High School and Luther Preparatory School Forensics teams invite you and your team to the Rock River Forensics Tournament.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Watertown High School. Our goal is to help teams get the ball rolling for the upcoming competition season. We are prepared to offer a SYNCHRONOUS VIRTUAL TOURNAMENT via the NSDA Campus platform which is integrated with SpeechWire. This means that it will be a live tournament via video conference rooms which follows a typical tournament schedule. Judges and students will need to be available most of the day on Saturday the 23rd. Registered teams will receive more information on how this works in the coming weeks. We encourage you to watch some of the videos on the SpeechWire Tournament Services channel on YouTube. Ben has created some nice tutorial and information videos about virtual tournaments.

Special Notes

-We are allowing students to double enter in the tournament in all events. This will allow motivated students the opportunity to compete in two events.

-We’ll be using the SpeechWire registration and tabulation software system. To register your team, visit: www.speechwire.com

Rules

WFCA rules will be used for all events (For a list of rules see www.wfcaforensics.org) . Please note that allowances will be made for difference in WHSFA rules. Those rule differences can be found here.
