Cudahy Middle School Forensic Meet Saturday, March 6, 2021 ALL REGISTRATION IS ON-LINE!!!
*Registration OPENS January 9th at 9:00 a.m. 600 entry limit Registration will stay open until the limit is met or until Monday, March 1st at 4 pm
Forensics Coaches: Your team is cordially invited to the Cudahy Middle School Virtual Forensic Tournament, which will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2021, on Speechwire, and NSD Campus Cudahy Middle School is located at 5530 S. Barland Ave. Cudahy, WI. All middle school and junior high students are welcome. The Tournament will be a three-round event with all participants performing in each round. At the end of the three rounds, results will be tabulated. You may bring up to six contestants per category. All MFLA of Wisconsin rules apply.
Awards: All contestants will receive ribbon certificates based on the point system adopted by the MFLA. The top ⅓ for each category will receive a small medal, and the top three performers in each category will receive a large medal. All medals will be mailed to the head coach. First, second, and third-place team trophies will be awarded for each for small, medium, and large teams or a combination of small-medium/large depending on final teams and contestants attending the meet. Arrangements will be made for pick up or delivery of team trophies because they are too big to mail.
Schedule for the Day
8:30 a.m. Judge’s Meeting- Video will be sent
8:45 a.m. Student Meeting- Video will be sent
9:00 a.m. Round 1
10:30 a.m. Round 2
12:00 p.m. Round 3
Awards TBD- Either streamed Live or Video sent to head coaches after tabulations.
Registration Fees: The Registration fee for each student is $4.00. Please make checks payable to Cudahy Middle School.
Judges: Please bring one trained judge for every five entries. Groups count as individual entries. Be certain that judges are properly trained, have read and understand MLFA’s middle school rules, including this year’s rule changes and new critiques. As always, bringing the correct number of judges to a meet is vital for the success of the meet. (You will be charged $75 for every one of your judges that does not show up on the day of the meet.)
