We are pleased to invite your team to the virtual STMA Knights Invitational on Saturday, February 13, 2021 hosted by St. Michael-Albertville High School. Students will perform synchronously on NSDA Campus in all events except Duo, where video recordings will be submitted.

 

Date:           Saturday, February 13, 2021

 

Events:         All MSHSL events and Program Oral Interpretation.

 

Discussion:  Tasks will be distributed in-round and will come from Section I.  Global Wellness Through A Domestic Lens, Prompts A-J. Discussion will be offset on the schedule to allow for double entry. 

 

Draws: Extemp Reading Prose passages will come from Zero, Four, Six, and Eight. Extemp Reading Poetry passages will come from poems 1-25. Stories 1-11 will be used for Storytelling draws. 

 

Fees:           $7.00 per entry (Duo is per pair). Participants may double enter, but we request no triple entries.

 

Judges:     One per 6 entries or fraction thereof. Preference of events is available during registration.

 

Registration: Please register as soon as possible to ensure attendance; we’ll likely have to cap rooms once we hit 120 rooms. If we reach our cap, I will try to accommodate adds as drops come in, but I can't guarantee entry. Remember to have students link their Speechwire accounts to their email so that you can register them. 

                 Please register both competitors and judges on Speechwire.com no later than 7:00 am on Saturday, February 13. Drops after this time will not lower your registration fee. Continue to drop entries until we schedule the tournament at 8:00 am. Adds may be possible the day of the tournament depending on numbers.
