The Cardinal-Mooney Speech & Debate Team cordially invites you to attend our virtual tournament on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

All competition will be synchronous using SpeechWire and NSDA Campus.

LD/PF Debate:  4 Rounds

Congressional Debate:  Prelim Sessions Only.

Double Entry will NOT be permitted at this tournament.

Policy Debate will NOT be offered at this tournament.

MS Extemp Debate will NOT be offered at this tournament.

 

Registration Deadlines:

Please have your entries registered in SpeechWire no later than Thursday, January 21 at 8 PM.

Please have your judges registered in SpeechWire no later than Friday, January 22 at 5 PM.

Tentative Tournament Timing:
8:00-8:30 AM - Registration
8:30 AM - Judges in lounges

 

Disclaimer:
By registering students to compete, the coach certifies that the school and parents/guardians permit the student to participate in this event.  Students participating in this event are 13 years of age or older, and/or head coaches are certifying that they have obtained all permissions and/or approvals required to allow the student to participate in this event.

Expectations:
Students and judges are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all Youngstown District Virtual Tournaments, which includes upholding the OSDA’s Ethical Standards.  Additionally, audio and/or visual recording of any round or saving images from any round at any Youngstown District virtual tournament by any participant is strictly prohibited. 

Please note:  An administratively approved coach must check in at registration and be available for each team throughout the tournament.
