The Auburn Public Schools' speech team would like to invite you to our annual speech invitational on February 13, 2021. This will be an in-person tournament, and further information will be forwarded at a later date concerning Covid protocols. Registration will be at 7:30 a.m. with Extemp Draw at 8:00 a.m. in the Media Center and a general meeting at 8:00 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. Registration will be at the Middle School entrance on the east side of the building.

Tournament competition will consist of two preliminary rounds followed by one final round. The top six competitors in each event will advance to the final round of competition. Only two students per school will be able to break through to finals for each event. All finalists will receive medals. Sweepstakes trophies will be awarded to the top two teams.

Decisions concerning the availability of a concession stand and a lounge for coaches, judges, and bus drivers are still being considered. All judges must be available to judge finals, and no decision concerning an awards ceremony has been made yet. If you have questions, please contact Diana Eickhoff at 402-274-9132!
