Dear Colleagues,

The GKCSC Speech and Debate tournament will be February 14-20, 2021. The deadline for entries is Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Asynch videos are due on Friday, February 12th, 2021. Please enter your entries and judges for the tournament through Speechwire. Participants must have Speechwire accounts. 

For entry fees, we are going to invoice your school after the tournament. Essentially, I will take the total cost of Speechwire services and divide it among the participating schools so that the entry fee will only cover the cost of Speechwire services with no profit being taken from the host school. I anticipate this number to be less than the typical $50 entry fee.

The following events will be held in each division: Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking, United States Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oration, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Program of Oral Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Storytelling, Student Congress, Policy Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Public Forum Debate. Duo will be split screen. We will use the January 2021 NSDA Congress Docket for Congress.
