Moorhead/Woodbury Tournament
General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Minnesota. View manager contact information General Information: The Moorhead and Woodbury Speech Teams are so excited to invite you to a brand new tournament! Come join us in January for a fun, competitive, collaborative, and exciting two-day tournament. Our goal is to provide you with an excellent experience, but in a way that reminds us all why we love this activity, even when it is virtual. We are working hard to ensure students, judges, and coaches all have a great time. Come enjoy a Minnesota tournament from the warmth of your own home! We will have many surprises throughout the day for coaches and students to make you feel special! Important Dates: Registration Deadline: Monday, January 25th at 5PM Drop Deadline: Changes can be made to your entry until January 27th at 5PM without any cost. Any drops after this point will incur a drop fee of $8.00 Drops will not be refunded at this point. Tournament: Friday, January 29th & Saturday, January 30th

Online Format: All rounds will be live (except for Duo). Students will compete synchronously using NSDA Campus. More detailed information will come soon regarding the platform. We want to ensure all students have an equitible oppprtunity and so if there are any reason why students can't compete live, please reach out to Suzanne or Rebecca for accomodations. We will come up with a solution for equity reasons. Judging Requirements: Teams are expected to bring 1 judge for every 6 entries. Judging slots not covered will incur a $100 fee. Teams will be expected to provided judges for each division they are competing in. So if you are only competing in Friday's novice portion, you are only expected to bring judges to this part of the tournament. Entry Fees: $8.00 (Novice and Varsity) $16.00 (Duo)
*Fees have been increased by a few dollars to cover the.cost of the virtual rooms.

NIETOC Bid Tournament: This tournament is officially a bid tournament site for the National Individual Event Tournament of Champions. Students competing in Varsity Drama, Duo, Extemp. Speaking, Humorous, Informative, Original Oratory, Prose (counts as a Drama bid), or Program Oral Interpretation have the ability to earn a bid that will get them one step closer to competing at the NIETOC Tournament in Houston, Texas from May 7-9, 2021. If there are enough entries in any of the NIETOC categories, we may offer a Merit and Consolation final to offer more bids. For more information visit their official website.
