Events and Conflict Patterns

The tournaments will be using the AFA Individual Events rules.

Flight A: Dramatic Duo, After Dinner Speaking, Prose Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Impromptu Speaking

Flight B: Program Oral Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Communication Analysis, Poetry Interpretation, Persuasive Speaking, and Extemporaneous Speaking

Parliamentary Debate: Those participating in Parliamentary Debate may not enter IEs on Day 2.

Individual Events: Students who are only entered in Individual Events may enter up to 2 events on Day 1 and may enter up to 2 events in both Flight A and Flight B. Triple Entries are discouraged in one flight pattern, but may be allowed at the discretion of the tournament manager. This is to balance room and judge availability.
