Dear Coaches,
This is an invitation to the 2021 NYA Speech Tournament, which is being held this year virtually on the NSDA campus, on February 20, 2021.
Time: Round 1 will start at 9:00 with draws beginning at 8:30.
Schedule:
7:45 Registration
8:30 Round 1 Draws
8:45 Judges Meeting
9:00 Round One
10:20 Round Two (Draws at 9:50)
12:00 Round Three (Draws at 11:30)
1:45 or as soon as possible awards will be presented in the auditorium.
Entries: each entry is $6.50 and each duo counts as 1 entry (double entries allowed except in discussion)
Please bring one judge per 6 entries or fraction thereof. (We may be able to find extra judges if we know in advance)
I will send an email letting you know which stories, Ex. Reading and Ex. Speaking sections we will use as the date gets closer. We will use section one of the discussion outline.
Registration: Please register online on speechwire.com. Please make adds/drops online until February 20th at 8:00 AM. A drop fee will apply after Feb. 18th. I will schedule round 1 at 8:00 AM on Feb. 20th, so please call or text me if you make adds or drops after that so I know which rooms need to be re-scheduled. (507-990-0155).
On the morning of, please call or text me (507-990-0155) once you know who is ready/missing so I know all adds/drops are finalized.
