Dear Speech Coaches:
Awards: Here is the link for the awards stream that is scheduled to start on Saturday, 2/6, at 3:45pm. We want to start awards as soon as possible, so stay tuned for potential updates!
You and your team are invited to participate in the Prior Lake High School Laker (Virtual) Speech Tournament on Saturday, February 6, 2021. We hope you will be able to join us!
Things will look a little different this year as you would expect. We will be running a mostly synchronous tournament using NSDA Campus. We want to offer a fun and competitive opportunity for your speakers that can closely resemble a normal tournament, but in a virtual format. More information will follow about specific scheduling. If you need to reach us for any reason on the morning of the tournament, please call Tournament Manager Nick Ingles at 952-454-2156.
We are also very excited to announce our tournament will be a NIETOC bid tournament!
The cost is $7.00 per entrant. Checks can be made to Prior Lake High School Speech. Double entries are allowed. Duo Interpretation is $7.00 per duo (FYI-Duo will be the one category that will be entirely asynchronous).
Judges: You will need to provide one judge for every six (6) entries or fraction thereof. Uncovered judge slots will cost $85 each. Please make every effort to provide the required number of judges based on your entries prior to drops.
Entry Deadline: Please submit your initial entries by Friday, January 29. If you need to make changes, please submit drop/adds on Speechwire by Saturday, February 6 at 7:00 am. Changes can still be made up until Saturday morning, but all drops after Feb. 6, 7:00 am will not result in a change on the statement.
