You're invited to join us for the Northfield Raider Speech Virtual Invitational on Saturday, March 20, 2021!
As of right now, we're going with the flow and expect to learn a lot from the earlier-in-the-season tournaments! We are open to adjusting schedules, fees, and opportunities (such as live-streamed finals and awards) as we learn much as we progress through the season.
Our competition will feature three preliminary rounds and a final round in all 13 MSHSL events; next-on fnals will be held for the categories with a larger number of entries. Students are welcome to double-enter in all events except Discussion. All Storytelling stories, ER stories and poems, ES topics, and sections of the Discussion outline are fair game.
Fees are $7 per entry; registrations are due Weds., March 17th at 5:00pm. Subsequent drops will be charged $7.00 per drop. Adds, if workable, will be charged the $7.00 entry fee. Please make all checks payable to Northfield High School, 1400 Division St. So., Northfield, MN 55057.
Please provide one judge for every 6 entries or fraction thereof; unfilled judging slots will be billed at $100.00 per judge.
Our schedule will be as follows:
Draws for Round One: 8:45am
Round One: 9:15am
Round Two: 10:30am
Round Three: 11:45am
