New Philadelphia Virtual Debate Tournament

The New Philadelphia Speech and Debate Team would like to invite you to the inaugural New Philadelphia Debate Tournament,to be held virtually on Saturday, December 12, 2020. We will be using a combination of SpeechWire and NSDA Campus.
We will be offering the following debate events: Public Forum, Lincoln Douglas, Student Congress, Ms Student Congress, and 2-Person Policy Debate.
Student Congress will be using the Ohio Speech and Debate Association December 2020 docket. MS Student Congress will be using legislation numbers 5, 7, 9, 10, & 11 from the Ohio Speech and Debate Association 2020 docket Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum, and 2 Person Policy will be using the NSDA November/December 2020 topics.
We will accept registration through Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
Awards will be held virtually. We will award the top six competitors in each event.
We will NOT provide judges for hire. Please do your best to fill your entire judging obligation. If you are unable to provide your full obligation, we may be forced to drop students from competition to ensure a smooth-running tournament.
This is our first tournament, so please be patient with us as we learn the ropes and as we fine tune the tournament. Our goal is to provide an experience that is consistent with what you would expect at a tournament in the Canton or Akron districts.
